Environmental problems

Some of the environmental problems are: plastic pollution, air pollution, ice caps
melting, deforestation, global warming, animals producing too much methane and many
more.
The main cause of all these problems are people. They are the reason why there’s
plastic pollution becuse they use too much plastic every day and then they just throw it on the
ground and it ends up in the ocean. It is the same with air pollution. Industries produce a lot
of toxic gases and then they go into the air. When they burp, animals produce methane, an
even more toxic gas than carbon dioxide and it makes the global warming a lot worse. Animals
are losing their habitats because of deforestation, some are even losing lives. When thurtles
see plastic they think it’s a jellyfish so they eat it but then they end up dying because somebody
was too lazy to throw the plastic bag into trash. People are evil and they are the main reason
of these problems and if we want to stop them we must open our eyes and snap back to
reality. Instead of using cars so much we can walk or ride the bike to our destination. Reusable
energy sources are very good (such as wind and sun), but they have some disadvantages too.
Sun energy takes too much time to save and it is very expensive. Wind farms take a lot of
space. Coal is a non-renewable energy source and it is very bad for the environment.
The only way we can help the planet is if we wake up and do something. We mustn’t
be lazy and think that is going to help!

Environmental problems

In this text I’m going to talk about environmental problems, for example gas pollution,
deforestation, global warming, loss of biodiversity, problems with waste disposal and many
more. So I hope you’re going to realize that we are hurting our planet.
To start, people cause environmental problems in a lot of different ways but I’m only
going to name some of them. For example, gas pollution and burning oil produces carbon
dioxide. Then there are plastic pollution because sea animals can mistake plastic for food and
die after eating it. Not to mention that animals can lose their homes because we keep causing
environmental problems. We could help lessen the impact but it would still be a lot of time
for the animals and their homes to heal. We could do that by using renewable energy sources,
use bikes instead of cars, recycle more, use less plastic and soo much more. For example we
could use solar, wind and water energy more than just normal electricity. We could use eletric
cars and less normal cars because they use gas and electric cars don’t. There’s also a problem
which I forgot to mention and that is global warming which is when ice caps form later and
melt earlier each year and because of that polar animals starve to death.
We don’t need to stop using normal cars. We could start using them less and less. Small
steps could help solve this problem. You too could also help by recycling or asking your parents
to drive you to places less. Where there’s a will, there’s a way.

Environmental problems

Some of the environmental problems that we are dealing with are: climate changes,
global warming, biodiversity loss, deforestation, air pollution, environmental disasters, plastic
pollution and many more.
We hear about this in news, in school… But does anyone ask himself what the main
cause of those problems is? The answer is humans. People around the world throw plastic in
the seas or on the ground. Because of that, many animals are getting extinct. One of them
are the polar bears. The ice is melting too soon because of climate changes and global
warming so they can’t hunt food and they starve to death. Another cause is using non-
renewable energy sources because it is the safest option for us and the environment. We can
put solar panels on houses and get solar energy for free and then we won’t have high bills to
pay which is great. Some things that we can do to help our environment is to stop using plastic
bags and plastic stuff. We can donate some clothes and not throw them away so we can plant
more trees and many other things…
The point is that we need to help our planet before it is too late. For green future!

Environmental problems

Some of the biggest environmental problems are deforestation, global warming, ice
melting, air pollution, ocean warming and water pollution.
The main consequences of these problems are that people cut too many trees so we
have less oxygen. Because of ice melting sea temperatures rise which leads to polar bears not
having enough food to eat. Effects that they have on animals are that some species went
extinct. Humans have low air quality and environment gets damaged. Some advantages of
renewable energy sources are that we can use them again and those non-renewable we
cannot.
To stop these problems we should stop cutting trees so much, we should use paper
and cloth bags instead of plastic ones and we should use renewable energy sources more.
Karlo Gazdek, 7.d

Environmental problems

There are a lot of environmental problems. Some of them are air pollution, global
warming, deforestation, water pollution, soil pollution and many more.
Air pollution is caused mostly by too many cars, buses and also by factories.
Deforestation is caused by people cutting down trees. Because of deforestation we have less
oxygen on our planet Earth. Because of global warming animals are dying. Not so long ago a
lot of polar bears died because of global warming, especially ice melting. We should ride
bikes more often than drive cars. And that is also good for our health because we can
breathe the fresh air. We shouldn’t cut down trees so much. We should plant trees insted of
cutting them. One renewabe source of energy is the Sun. We use it for electricity. Its bad
side is that it can only be collected during the day. Coal is a a non-renewable source of
energy. That means that we don’t have it for the rest of our lives. We use coal for heating
that our homes stay warm. Coal is the worst polluter.
We should pay more attention to our planet Earth and we shouldn’t throw so much
trash in nature.
Laura Skupnjak Hrman, 7.d

Environmental problems

Gas pollution, deforestation, overfishing, loss of biodiversity, plastic pollution, waste
disposal are only a few of the environmental problems that we deal with today.
Deforestation is when people cut or burn down too many trees. It’s very bad because
we need them for the oxygen that we breathe and animals such as squirrels and birds need
them for shelter. To solve this problem, we need to cut less trees and plant more instead. If
we do that, we will have a good amount of oxygen and animals won’t have to go somewhere
else.
There are two types of energy sources: renewable and non-renewable. Renewable
sources like the sun, wind and waves are sources that we can use forever because they’ll never
go away. Non-renewable sources like coal, gas and oil are sources we can also use, but at one
point, we’ll use them all up and we won’t be able to use them anymore because they’ll all be
used up.

Environmental problems

Some environmental problems are: global warming, ice melting, deforestation,
pollution, high water temperatures and gas pollution.
The main causes of these problems are big factories, cars, plastic, gas, oil and coal. The
consequences are extinction of plants and animals. They are unhealthy for people’s life and
they damage our environment. Solar energy and hydropower are the most used renewable
energy sources in the world because they are unlimited and very good for our life and humans
can’t live without sun and water. Gas is a non-renewable energy source. It is very bad for us
because of gas pollution. Gas pollution is very dangerous.
We should recycle, reduce plastic use and we should use public transportation more.
We can walk to work or school instead of going by car because cars produce gas pollution. We
can easily solve these problems if we don’t damage the environment.
Roko Višnjić,7.D

Environmental problems

Today nature is in a big problem. There are many problems with trash, people are
killing nature with plastic pollution, toxic gases and there’s also methane gas pollution and
many more.
People are the main cause of these problems. They throw trash in the sea, in nature.
That kills some of the animals too because sometimes they eat plastic bags by mistake or
maybe they’ve lost their homes because of deforestation. At the same time some things can
be good. There are renewable energy and non-renewable energy sources. Coal is a non-
renewable source of energy and it also has advantages. It is cheap and there are still some
coal mines but the main disadvantage is that it is the biggest polluter. The same goes for
solar panels and many other things.
Only we can save the environment. We need to stop throwing trash and clean the nature.
We can also eat less meat to produce less methane gas.
Lovro Pomper, 7.d

Environmental problems

Plastic pollution is often the problem as many people throw plastic everywhere all around the
world. Global warming is when ice melts and it causes sea levels to rise and animals can’t find
much food as they used to. Another problem is that plastic takes 1,000 years to decompose,
so we must stop using plastic bags and use cloth bags instead! The consequences are that
many animals will die as they think it’s food. One renewable energy source is wind power. You
can see wind turbines when you travel somewhere. And one non-renewable source is the
sun. I must say that we should stop throwing things into the ocean as many animals could be
sick or even die and we don’t want that to happen. An important thing is that we must protect
the Earth as it is the only home we have. By 2050, everything will change! There will be less
animals, more plastic in oceans, rivers, lakes and all around the nature! The sea levels will rise
even more as time passes. It’s so sad that we are damaging the Earth, we can reycle instead
of throwing things and they can be used again!
I know we can do better to protect the Earth, but it’s sad that mostly people don’t want to
listen, but we must not give up.
Marija Sabolović, 7.D

Environmental problems

Global warming is one of the biggest problems in the world today. It is the process of the
Earth’s average temperature increasing due to a higher amount of greenhouse gases in the
atmosphere. The most well known of these gases is carbon dioxide, which comes from traffic
industry and burning fossil fuels. Because of global warming, ice caps are melting and sea
levels are rising. This can endanger many cities and countries, habitats and places located near
the coast. Weather is also changing. Droughts, floods and strong storms are more freguent.
Sometimes people are guilty because they throw plastic bottles in the sea and they ruin
animals’ habitats. As people we should stop throwing trash everywhere expect in the
containers, we should stop using cars every day and we can use bikes instead. If we want our
planet to be a better place we need to be better first.
Jana Šokman, 7.D

Environmental problems

I’m going to write about environmental problems. Some of these problems are: gas
pollution, air pollution, animal extinction, animals lose their habitats, deforestation,
overpopulation, etc..
The main causes of these problems are people, because they cut trees, they always
drive their cars (that’s why the gas pollution happens). The consequences are: people get
easily sick and eldery people (especially our grandmothers and grandfathers) can end up in
hospital. Animals lose their habitats because of deforestation. The legend says that if we don’t
start caring about animals, or their habitats, that some or even all animals will get extinct by
the year 2050. Our environment is bad, there are too many gases and it’s starting to get really
hot outside. I’m scared because what would really happen by the year 2050, what if grass or
trees turn gray because of all the gases, or what if it’s too hot outside that it will start a fire. I
guess we’ll never know. Coal is one of the non-renewable energy sources, because of it there
are many wars out there. As for solar panels, I can’t say the same, when it’s really cold outside,
it makes our homes warm, by taking all the energy from sun.
We should stop cutting down the trees. We should care more about our planet.
Mihaela Mustedanagić, 7.d

Environmental problems

Today the environment is in great danger because of human activities. People often throw
rubbish on the streets, in parks and rivers which harms nature and animals. A big problem is
also smoke from factories and gases from cars that pollute. It is getting warmer and the ice on
the poles is melting. I think we all need to be more responsible. It is important to separate
waste, use less plastic and save water. We can also plant trees and use bikes or public
transport more often. If we take care of nature our world will be a nicer and healthier place
to live. We must think about future generations and help our planet.
Una Budim, 7.d

Environmental problems

We have a couple of environmental problems like: overpopulation, ice melting, too much
carbon dioxide, tornadoes, hurricanes, animals losing homes and deforestation. The main
causes of these problems are too many factories, too many cars and deforestation. Those
problems effect people and animals because they lose homes and the environment is looking
worse. If we want to solve those problems we should start planting more trees because
animals will lose their homes. We should use solar panels because that way you can have
infinite solar energy. A disadvantage is that it is expensive but the advantage is that you will
pay less for the electricity bills.
Valent Mance, 7.D

Environmental problems

One of the biggest problems today is environmental pollution. People throw rubbish in nature,
use too much plastic and pollute the air with cars and factories. Because of this the climate is
changing, temperatures are rising and many animals are losing their homes. Seas and rivers
are also becoming dirty, which is dangerous for fish and people. I think everyone can help. We
should recycle paper, plastic and glass, save water and turn off the lights when we do not need
them. We can also walk more or ride a bike instead of using a car. If everyone makes a small
step, our planet can become cleaner and healthier. It is important to protect the nature
because it is our home and we should think about the future.
Vanessa Habrun, 7.D

Environmental problems

There are many environmental problems and some of them are air pollution, water
pollution, global warming, deforestation, waste and littering.
The main causes are human activities. Factories and cars produce dirty smoke, people
throw away too much garbage and chemicals. We also cut down forests for wood and
buildings. Pollution makes people and animals sick. Global warming causes ice to melt, so
animals like polar bears lose their homes. The environment is destroyed when we cut down
trees and many species of plants disappear forever. We must stop littering and start recycling.
We should save energy by turning off the lights. We could walk or ride a bike instead of using
a car to reduce pollution.
We use different types of energy. Solar energy is renewable and clean because it comes
from the sun. However, it can be expensive. Coal is a non-renewable energy source. It is easy
to use, but it causes a lot of pollution and we will run out of it one day.
Vida Huzjak 7.d

Environmental problems

Some of the biggest environmental problems are: deforestation, air pollution, plastic
pollution, gas pollution, biodiversity loss, waste disposal.
The main cause of these problems are that humans need more space to build and that
they throw waste everywhere. Factories are also one of the causes. The consequences of
these problems hit animals, nature and humans. Some consequences are: less forests (not
many animal habitats), more waste and one of the biggest consequences in my opinion is that
many sea animals die because they eat plastic. Because of that when we eat fish or other sea
animals we do not just eat the meat but we also eat plastic. To solve these problems we should
stop throwing trash all around in the nature and we should stop cutting down trees and
instead we should plant more of them. With the time people discovered new energy sources,
for example a renewable energy source, the sun. If we take and install solar panels we can get
energy from the sun. But the problem is that it only produces energy when it’s sunny outside.
And we also have non-renewable energy sources, such as water. We all think that water is
renewable but we don’t have infinite water. We can make levees on rivers so water can
produce energy.
Luca Vučković, 7.d

Environmental problems

Six environmental problems are: air pollution, water pollution, land pollution, deforestation,
climate change, and loss of animals.
The main causes are factories, cars, cutting trees, throwing garbage and using too much
plastic. These problems can make people sick, animals can lose their homes, and nature
becomes damaged. It can also cause floods and very hot weather. We should recycle, plant
trees, save water, and not throw trash in nature. People must use less plastic and protect the
environment. Solar energy is a renewable enrgy source. It is good because it does not pollute,
but it is expensive. Coal is non-renewable. It is cheap, but it pollutes the air and harms nature.
We should use more renewable energy sources in the future. This will help protect our planet.
Erika Mikulan ,7.D

Environmental problems

There are floods, tornadoes, trash in the forests and people abusing animals. The main causes
of these problems are people who are throwing trash and some animals can die because of
that. There is also gas pollution. We should stop destroying animals’ homes. We must stop gas
pollution because that affects nature. We can recycle many things after their use.
Disadvantages are gas pollution and people should respect animals’ homes and not destroy
them. Tornadoes can happen naturally and that can destroy people’s homes and their lives.
Emanuel Škoranec, 7.d

Environmental problems

We have a lot of environmental problems in this time. A lot of animals die because
they don’t have food to eat. Some of them biggest problems are: global warming, air pollution,
plastic pollution and water pollution.
A lot of people don’t think about our planet. This planet is our home and we need to
save it. Factories are one of the biggest problems and they need non-renewable energy
sources. Cars produce CO2 and we breathe this gas. We have sun. Factories don’t use sun or
wind energy and it’s free and better than the oil or any other non-renewable energy sources.
We have problems with ice melting and polar bears die because of that. They don’t have food
because ice melts sooner every year.
We need to stop this, we don’t have ten planets, we have only one. Plastic bags are
history, now we have cloth bags which are better for the environment. I should do
something, we should do something. I need to stop buying plastic things which I don’t need.
I should recycle waste.
Tena Paska, 7.d

Environmental problems

Some of the enviromental problems are: tornadoes, hurricanes, too much plastic, too much
carbon dioxide, ice melting and animals losing homes. The main causes of these problems are:
factories, people throwing trash in the ocean and on the ground.
Some consequences are that some animals are dying. Cold oceans lose ice and a lot of animals
lose their homes. You can regenerate wind and water. We use water to produce electricity
that we use in daily lifes. One non-renewable source is coal. We use coal for furnace.
We could install more trash cans around the world, we could stop using gas cars and rather
use electric cars. We could recycle plastic and we could use cloth bags and not plastic ones.
